The Single Biggest Concern

As we prepare for our move Down Under, the single biggest concern of ours is the house.  We have a lovely 3 bedroom home in Durham.  The house is in excellent condition with granite countertops in the kitchen and an open floor plan.  And, you really can't find a better neighborhood in our town.  Besides the economy and it being a buyer's market (at least that's what they are saying), I guess what might be working against us is that we have an unfinished fourth bedroom and the downstairs needs a fresh coat of paint.  Things that have been pointed out time and again to us, and our response is the same everytime, let's negotiate.  We believe we are quite reasonable, however, we are not going to give the place away.  At this point, we are willing to sell or rent the place.

To Blog or Not to Blog

To blog or not to blog...that is the question.  As my husband and I are preparing for our move to Australia in the next month, I have intentions of documenting our experiences here on my blog for all to enjoy.  However, I should caution you that I have made several attempts to keep a journal.  What to write about often escapes me.  Perhaps that's because I don't often find that my daily activities are all that exciting, and I am not that comfortable expressing my emotions even on the pages of a diary.  I just do not wear my heart on my sleeve.  In truth, my heart is wrapped in armour.  So, I think I may have found a comfortable and appropriate topic to blog about.  We'll all just have to see how it goes.
